What is an Ayurvedic Practitioner?
An Ayurvedic Practitioner uses Eastern concepts of the healing power of foods, lifestyle, exercises, and mental and spiritual balance. Achieving balance in mind, body, and spirit is the goal of Ayurvedic Medicine, and this is accomplished by treating each person as an individual with their own unique strengths and weaknesses.

What is Ayurvedic Medicine?
•5000 years-old system of healing and lifestyle
•Ayurveda means the Science or Knowledge of Life
•Basis for the Chinese and ultimately, the Greek Medical Systems
•A complete system of living embracing not only medicine, but also
philosophy, psychology, lifestyle, and physical health
•The most basic concept is that of balance. We are at our healthiest and
happiest when all the doshas are in harmony. Disease results when the
doshas go out of balance, whether in daily health or on a long-term
cellular
level.
•A body in balance can heal itself, so Ayurveda seeks to restore balance
to assist the body’s own defensive and restorative capacity.
